As I'm sure you are already aware on the 1st January the UK left the European Union. As a result of Brexit there are lots of changes to the way in which we can sell and ship goods to Europe. We are still able to ship to European countries but there are some updates to share with you.
Import duties/taxes and service handling fees will now be applied by each destination country to every shipment to EU countries. These charges will be payable before your order reaches you. As each country has its own taxes and charges we can't tell you what they will be upfront so please check your own countries taxes before you place your order.
In order to be transparent here's what we are doing from our side with regards to Brexit:
Shipping costs have increased significantly to the EU so we are now shipping EU orders by Royal Mail in order to keep the costs for you and us as low as we can. It takes a few days longer than with UPS but we use a trackable service so you can still follow progress and track your orders.
Please note: as ALL delivery networks are dealing with an increased workload from Brexit and in combination with the effects of Covid 19 most shipments are taking slightly longer than usual to arrive.
We are also looking into how we can remove UK VAT from European orders so that you aren't paying double taxes. It's not as straight forward as it sounds and at present we can't do that on our web platform but we are looking to try to find a solution. In the mean time we want to try and help our European customer so, if you are based in the EU and would like to place an order please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can send you an invoice with the 20% UK VAT deducted. While this won't remove all the import taxes you will have to pay in your own country, it will help to reduce them.
