Made to Order is a place to make your dream pair of CHAPTER 2 boots; playing with special materials to create a statement style which is unique to you. It's very simple but to help you through the Made to Order process here's how it works:
The first step is to choose which of our signature boot styles you prefer; Wren or Jackdaw, and also which leather you'd like your boots to be made in. With Made to Order you can be playful with your style so we've curated a variety of special leathers to choose from including metallics, ponyskin and snake prints. We'll be adding and changing the available leathers throughout the seasons so that you'll always be able to create some amazing and unique shoes.
We know how important it can be to see the colour and feel the texture and quality of the leather before you order so for a small cost it's possible to purchase a set of up to 3 swatches (the cost of which is then redeemable when you order a pair of exclusive Made to Order boots). So if you're not sure which leather is your favourite or you'd like to see it up close before you order, swatches are a great way for you to be able to do that.
Once you're happy with your choice of leather all you need to do is select it on the product page and when you checkout let us know in the comments which size boots you'd like us to make (37-41 eur for women). Most of the leathers we use are special skins or one offs which means we won't be making many pairs of each colour. Some will be extremely limited so we'll let you know how many pairs we can make in each so that you don't miss out.
Our online order books will be open for the first 2 weeks of every month to allow you to place your order. Once the books close all orders will be collated and work will begin on making your boots. Our shoemaker Tom will be crafting each pair by hand in our workshop in East Sussex, UK with the aim to ship your boots by the end of the following month - approx 6 weeks after the order books close. When they're finished in making each pair of hand crafted boots will then be carefully packed in a beautiful blue shoe box ready to ship to you.
