The Made to Order Process

Made to Order is the place to make your dream pair of CHAPTER 2 boots; playing with special materials to create a statement shoe which is unique to you. Our much loved signature footwear styles but each pair individually handcrafted just for you in our workshop in East Sussex. (Please note Made to Order shoes are not bespoke to your feet measurements. They follow the same patterns and fit as our collection styles.)

With Made to Order you can be playful with your style so we've curated a variety of extra special leathers to choose from including metallics, ponyskin, snake prints in a host of beautiful colours. Most of the leathers we’ve sourced are one-offs which means we won't be making many pairs of each colour. Some will be extremely limited and it’s likely you’ll have a one-of-a-kind pair. We keep our product pages updated with how many pairs we can make in each leather so that you'll know just how exclusive your pair will be.

We'll be adding and changing the available leathers throughout the seasons so that you'll always be able to create some amazing and unique shoes.

  • ORDER

    When you've chosen your favourite style and leather simply place your order online and we'll do the rest.

  • MAKING

    Order books close on the 14th of every month and are passed to our shoemaker Tom to start making your shoes. Each pair is slowly handcrafted in our workshop in East Sussex using traditional shoemaking techniques.

  • DELIVERY

    We aim to ship your boots approx 6 weeks after the order books close. When they're finished each pair of handcrafted boots will then be carefully packed in a beautiful blue shoe box ready to ship to you.
