Sunflower is an original hand carved lino print in a golden ochre yellow by Bristol based printmaker Rosanna Morris.
Rosanna's prints are printed by hand and every single one of them is a unique reproduction, subtle variations will occur from print to print which is all part of their charm.
This print was carved from Lino and is printed on handmade Nepalese Lokta paper, using non-toxic professional printmaking inks.
Lokta is a native plant of the Himalayan foothills found above 3000 metres. It is a sustainable and renewable resource. Plants are cropped above ground level and can be re-harvested after 3-4 years. The papers are made using the traditional Nepalese floating mould method and sun dried on the frame.
Sun is available unframed or framed in a bevelled edge oak frame with cream mount. Please note that due to the delicate nature of the Lokta paper the print has been carefully hand stitched to the mount.
