Shoes take a long time to develop, especially as a small brand when we're always striving to create the best shoes we can. However, good things come to those who wait and Tom and I have been busy in the background here at CHAPTER 2 for a long time now developing something super exciting and it's something you've all been asking us for... a rubber sole.
So, I'm really pleased to say that in Autumn we will be launching new versions of our best selling Wren & Jackdaw Boots with the careful addition of the perfect rubber sole.
The sole itself is made of a lightweight EVA so it's nice and spongy underfoot, the chunky tread gives it a cool attitude and is detailed with a stitched leather rand which reflects our shoemaking heritage.
It's an extremely practical addition to our beautiful boots which means you'll be able to wear your favourite pair of CHAPTER 2 boots whatever the weather, which can only be a good thing given the changeable nature of the seasons here in the UK.
We'll be launching 2 styles: HARRIER (a winter version of the Jackdaw Boot) and HAWK (a winter version of the Wren Boot). Both new styles will be available in black leather and the Hawk Boot will also be available in a beautiful brown shade of Walnut.
Hawk & Harrier boots are due to Launch early in September and we're beyond excited for these new styles to arrive but as always our production runs will be small which means the number of pairs per size will be limited.
