For me Instagram has always been a place to enjoy discovering the work of different artists and makers, making connections and being inspired. Last year I discovered and fell in love with the work of Polish artist Karolina Skorka.
Her simple lines and muted tones convey a subtle mood, a quiet confidence and an honest sense of fashion and timeless style. It was a feeling which instantly resonated with me and I began to imagine the women in her illustrations all wearing CHAPTER 2 boots. So I asked Karolina to create one of her beautiful sketches of our iconic Jackdaw Boots and I just love the result.
Using Karolina's sketch we've put together a flyer with a little bit of info on our boots, how they're made and how to look after them which we'll be adding into the box of every order from now on. I'd love to create a whole look book of sketches or a series of paintings/drawings of our boots by different artists so hopefully this will be the first in a series...
