To our lovely US customers,
After careful consideration on the latest tariff developments in the US we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily pause delivery to the US.
This hasn't been an easy decision to make as every year we send around 30% of our beautifully crafted leather boots to customers all over the US who have supported us and have been a really important part of our small business for the past 11 years (heck, some years our customer base has been closer to 90% based in the US so this is a big one for us).
But, following the end of the de minimis tariff agreement which previously allowed shipments with a value of less than $800 to enter the US with no duty payable, things are unfortunately changing which means that ALL orders sent to the US will now incur import taxes which are payable by you our customers.
Over the past month we have experienced huge delays in customs, taxes being applied where they shouldn't be and extremely long delivery times. None of which are the experience we want for our customers so as much as we would love to continue shipping to the US we have decided to press pause on US shipping for the time being.
So, over the next few months as the dust settles on the situation with the new tariffs, the back log of packages attempting to pass through customs clears, we review what shipping methods will be the best for us going forwards and what the new tariffs situation actually looks like we hope to re-instate shipping to the US before too long.
Please bear with us as we attempt to navigate this new situation and try to figure out the best way forwards for both ourselves and our US customers.
